Birthday girl

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY KATIE!

Katie had a great time on her 1st birthday yesterday...

Grandma & Grandpa are visiting from SA so we spent most of the morning playing with Katie and making some birthday cakes. We let Katie open one of her presents (a great touchy - feelie book about kittens from Grandma & Grandpa) and then we all went out to meet Dad and have a lovely birthday lunch.

In the afternoon after Dad got home from work, we all helped Katie to open loads of presents. Katie loved all of them - though the wrapping, ribbon and bows seemed to be the best bit!



We played with Katie and some of her new toys - including a very cool activity book made by Aunty Sue - read a few birthday books - ate some butterfly birthday cake - had a birthday visit from the Jones clan - and played with the new bath fish from the Diments in the bath - a big hit!. By the end of the day we had one very tired little birthday girl who feel asleep without so much as a peep.
