A visit to the paediatrician (6 months adjusted)
This afternoon Kate had her 6 month (adjusted age) check-up with the paediatrician. Dr Crawshaw was really happy with Kate's progress - nothing bad to report - which is great news. Kate is eating well, growing well, getting teeth, holding her head steady, following things with her eyes, turning towards people talking, rolling over, smiling and giggling, grabbing and holding toys & generally doing all the things a kid of her age should be - and to top it all off - she's exceptionally cute as well!!!
Here is Kate in rolling action... watch out kittens here she comes!
The next group of things to watch out for - which Kate should be doing by around 8 months (adjusted age) should include - sitting upright without support, crawling, playing with her feet, saying her first words, eating lumpier and more textured solids like banana and avocado and passing an object from one hand to the other.
